OVERVIEW
Beesline laboratories have been developing a highly effective natural ointment that soothes, moisturizes and regenerates dry and chapped skin. There is a supposition that this formula gives fast relief for skin regeneration & healthy appearance after few days of application.
OBJECTIVE
This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of Beeswax Ointment in improving the condition and the hydration state of the dry & chapped skin.

Selection criteria
• 25 healthy men or women aged 18 to 58 years
• Having both moderate to high skin dryness as determined by:
- a clinical grader
- self-perceived
• Willing to apply the product, every day, for the duration of the study.
• Agreed not to apply any product (body lotion, cream...) to their skin other than the test product for the duration of the study.
Test Materials
• One formula Beeswax Ointment will be tested.
Treatment
• Subjects will be instructed to apply the product every day for one week.
• Subjects will complete a self-assessment questionnaire at each time point.
• All assessments will be performed after washing the skin with water and acclimatization for 10 minutes in a room kept at 22-±2°with 50±5% relative humidity.
Evaluation Methods
Subjects will assess the following parameters using a 1-10 scale:
1- Improved overall skin condition
2- Helped prevent skin dryness
3- Made skin feel smoother/softer
4- Skin look and feel healthier
5- Skin is relieved from dryness, itching & sensitivity
